I will dominate 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
